Shrimp: With Vermicelli

While the shrimp was grilling, the vermicelli was boiling on the stove. After everything was ready, the pasta and shrimp were topped with some parmesan cheese, additional spices, and an olive-oil tomato sauce to ladle around the dish.

The shrimp surprised me by being really tasty: Dad thought they could have been spicier (I agree -- curse you paprika!), and I thought there was a little too much butter in their sauce, but otherwise the grilling and marinade were a complete success!

Now if only I could get myself to cook earlier in the day so I'd still have decent lighting by the end, I'd be all set. I'm still learning, but the food photography bug hasn't gone away in the slightest.
