Costume Kids
A few young Potter fans eagerly await midnight.
Reza
No matter where I go, Reza seems to always be at the biggest premieres, special events, and all around cool-places-to-be in Rochester. Here, a blurry Reza sports his stylin' Potter glasses. I appear to have had a bit too much butterbeer.
Bespecled Molls
Molly in her Potter spectacles.
The gals
We spent a lot of time browsing around.
Adam gets a scar
Cyndi
Cindy (dead center with camera) was the only person in our merry little group who actually had the forethought to PREORDER.
Joelle & Molly
YOU try getting them to stand still!
Crowded B&N
Photographers, news crews, and eager fans kept the B+N pretty noisy for a bookstore. Fans could get Polaroids taken with cardboard Harry standees, and also get a lightning bolt "scar" painted on their foreheads. It was PACKED!
Mighty Adam
Adam, decked out in HP glasses and scar, a mighty mouse t-shirt, and a nudist necklace. Truly, the epitome of typical potter-fan.
Release Party Pano
Don't look too closely at this one; I stitched it together in less than 10 mins. Note the arcitecturally sound angle of the columns.
Mmmm coffee
Since we had nothing better to do, we stood around in line for the coffeeshop so we could get Frappachinos. Here's Molly, in line, listening to Joelle.
Molly imitates a tin soldier
Dark Marks
Molly and Joelle show off their frightfully awesome Dark Marks and double-glasses. Molly adds: "Aww, look at those cute little gits with the glasses and dark marks! How could people so cute be up to no good?"
Success!
Molly runs away with one!
Happy for the Order
Joelle is happy to finally have purchased the mammoth novel.
Car Reading
Since there really was no escaping it, we took turns reading pages in the first chapter out loud during the drive home. Molly began and we made it to page 6 before getting back to the apartment.
